Especially for solar home system providers, the use of IEC 61215-tested modules facilitates quality certification for the World Bank’s Lighting Global platform. OPES Solutions is the first company to receive the IEC certification for off-grid modules in this range.

OPES Solutions has received certification for its off-grid module series O-Eazy, O-Pico and O-Home, which together cover a power range from 0.9 watts to 270 watts. Their different sizes and frame designs make them suitable for rural electrification with Pay-as-You-Go or Pico solar systems, as well as for innovative applications such as solar street lighting or parking meters. The optional, patented Z-frame offers advantages such as additional efficiency, reduced soiling and simplified installation.
IEC standard 61215 comprises various tests that simulate the aging of crystalline PV modules and considers the stresses caused by climate, sunlight and mechanical stress such as snow and hail. IEC 61730 is intended to ensure that modules are electrically and mechanically safe over their entire service life. OPES Solutions is also ISO 9001,14001 and 18001 certified as a company for quality, environmental and occupational safety management.
